We provide a variety of pet sitting services. We pride ourselves in taking the best care of your animals possible. We know that pets do best when kept to their routine. They are also happier in their own homes. We are insured. We will walk and play with your dog midday if you work long days, go on a day trip, or have a puppy that needs more attention. These services can be provided last minute. You will no longer have to worry about your pet if you have to stay at work or want to go on a day trip with family or friends. After our initial visit you may let us keep your key and call us if you need us to come and care for your pets. For longer stays we visit your pet two or three times a day. We require at least three visits a day for dogs for extended pet sitting. We follow your pet’s normal routine. If your pet is used to being fed around 6:00, we will feed them around 6:00. We make sure that each pet gets individualized attention and the exercise that they need. During extended pet sitting we will also get your mail and newspaper. We will water your plants and turn lights on and off. This gives your home a lived in feel. It is less likely that you will suffer a break in if you have someone parked outside your house daily while you are gone. For those pets that are used to having company overnight, we offer overnight pet sitting. Some pets are used to sleeping with their owners. We will stay in your home from their evening visit to their morning visit. If you have a hyperactive or high energy dog we offer long hikes or visits to the dog park. Hikes range from 3-7 miles based on your dog’s fitness level. Transportation and water are provided. The most important aspect of our in home pet sitting is that you pet gets to stay in their home. They are in familiar surroundings with all of their toys, bowls, beds, and their yard. Pets are less stressed out at home. You don’t have to worry about your pet dealing with the noise and change of location at a kennel. Pets get to bond with their pet sitter and look forward to their visits. We are certified in first aid and carry a first aid kit and reference books to each and every job. In case of an emergency we are prepared. We also offer care for horses and other livestock. The owner is very experienced with horses and works at a horse barn. She can feed, water, bring in and turn out, put blankets on and take them off, administer supplements and medications (orally or inter-muscular injection) She can hold your horse for the farrier or vet if needed. She has limited experience with caring for goats, chickens and pigs and is willing to learn to care for any other livestock. |
